The application for the FAVORTE x TALTECH Scholarship is open
The autumn application round for the Tallinn University of Technology Development Fund scholarships has been opened. This year, Favorte continues with the tradition and supports the studies of one Faculty of Economics student with 3,500 euros.
According to Favorte's Board Member Rainer Hinno, all economics students who want to take the next step in their career are welcome to apply. "Within the scholarship, we offer the student support to implement their business idea and the opportunity to contribute to the development of Favorte's products and services," said Hinno.
Favorte is a real estate developer with 30 years of experience. The company's development portfolio includes, for example, Tähetorni Tehnopark, which has the potential to grow into the largest modern business park in Tallinn. The Käokella residential area, which is the largest of its kind in the Rae municipality, stands out among Favorte's residential developments. "If real estate development seems like an exciting field for you, use the opportunity to challenge yourself and enrich your experience," Hinno called on all interested students to submit their applications.
Kreete-Karoline Pleiats, who was awarded the Favorte Scholarship in 2022 and has now started working for the company as an Assistant Project Manager, has a few suggestions for the applicants. She says that it would be good to point out one or two interesting things that would help the applicant stand out from the rest. "For example, I linked the essay to the topic of my thesis, which gave me the opportunity to write about a lot of things and express my opinion. Before the interview round, be sure to familiarize yourself with the company's website and values and prepare some relevant questions," said Pleiats.
Applications for the scholarship are made through the Tallinn University of Technology Development Fund. "I encourage everyone to apply in order to create better opportunities and useful contacts for their future career and life," said Elinor Toming, the Leader and Member of the Board of Tallinn University of Technology's Development Fund.
Application for the scholarship lasts until October 24. Additional information about the application can be found in the scholarship statute.
