Favorte celebrated the expansion of one of the largest residential developments in Rae municipality

Real estate developer Favorte and construction company Mitt&Perlebach held a rafter party to celebrate the next stage of Käokella residential area reaching its full height. 64 new homes and 350 m2 of commercial space will be completed in the modern building complex at Sõnajala tee 1 in the summer of 2023.

According to Elje Hinno, Sales Manager of Favorte, there is still a lot of interest in the living spaces located around Tallinn. “A year before the apartment building will be completed, more than a quarter of the homes in the project have already been sold or reserved. As this is the last stage of Käokella residential area that is focused on housing development, now is the last opportunity to act for those families who have thought about this particular area before,” said Hinno.

Homes at Sõnajala tee 1 are being built by Mitt&Perlebach. “Work on the site has proceeded as planned and we are well on schedule. In addition to ensuring first-class construction quality, we are now also focusing on the additional wishes of the first buyers. When the apartments are completed, each home will have its family’s face,” said Taavi Vendel, Project Manager of the construction company.

The building complex has been designed by Arhitektibüroo Korrus. “The homes at Sõnajala tee 1 have been designed with the integrity of the whole residential area in mind. At the same time, the three-storey residential buildings form a distinctive ensemble that would also be suitable for decorating the centre of Tallinn,” said the chief architect Aigar Roht

To date, 160 families have found a home in the Käokella residential area. Käokella is spread over 14 hectares, making it one of the largest residential developments in Rae municipality. After completion of the homes on Sõnajala tee 1, construction of a new tennis and padel centre will begin. A building permit has already been issued for the sports centre that will be built on the Kanarbiku tee 2 property. The complex with eight courts should be completed within the next two years.
