Favorte and Mitt&Perlebach held the first rafter party in the Rehelepa residential area

Real estate developer Favorte and construction company Mitt&Perlebach held a rafter party to mark the first phase of Rehelepa residential area reaching its maximum height. A-energy class homes of the opening phase of Rehelepa will be completed at the end of this year.

Favorte, the developer of the project, will invest 55 million euros in the construction of the residential area. In the coming years, 23 houses with 334 flats will be built on the 7.5 hectare plot, 72 of which are already under construction. The 2-5 room flats are designed for families of different sizes and will range from 42 to 98 square metres.

"In the case of Rehelepa project, green living environment is much more than just a colourful headline: it is only on site that everyone can see for themselves how charming the surrounding nature is. Despite the fact that the houses are still under construction, life is already buzzing here - we have already built kilometeres of paths for light vehicles and pedestrians, which connect to other sports paths and are already very actively used by the local residents," says Rainer Hinno, a member of Favorte's Management Board.

The largest modern business park in Tallinn is also rapidly growing and developing only 600 meteres away from the residential area. "In parallel with the development of the Rehelepa residential project, our fully dedicated team is working everyday to make the nearby Tähetorni Tehnopark even more attractive to both businesses and local residents. To date, the business park has signed lease agreements with 33 companies offering services ranging from car and machinery maintenance to beauty, home and sports products," says Hinno.

According to Kristjan Mitt, founder and co-owner of construction company Mitt&Perlebach, they have had a long and successful co-operation with Favorte and both parties have always remained satisfied with the joint work and its results. "Everything is going according to plan and we are perfectly on schedule. All the houses are now scaffolded and covered with a tent and the focus will now be on insulating the façade and internal works," says Mitt.

By the time of the rafter party, 30% of the apartments in the first phase of the Rehelepa residential area had been sold. Every flat in this development has a balcony or terrace, and the main share of the car parking has been moved underground to maximise backyard space. In addition to the greenery surrounding the residential buildings, a further 2 hectares of land has been set aside exclusively for sports fields and recreational areas. A heating system consisting of a gas and air heat pump controlled by buildings automation will help to keep the level of auxiliary costs under control, while solar panels on the roof will help to cover the energy needs of the houses.

The architect of the buildings is Aigar Roht from Arhitektuuribüroo Korrus OÜ. The project is financed by LHV Bank. More information about the project can be found at rehelepa.ee
