Favorte and Eventus have gotten Kadaka tee’s largest commercial building under the rafters
Real estate developer Favorte and Eventus Ehitus held a rafter party last week to celebrate Kadaka Trade Center reaching its full height. By the end of this year, 16,000 m2 of multifunctional commercial space will be completed at Kadaka tee 42b property. 16 million euros will be invested into the construction of the building.
According to Rainer Hinno, Board Member of Favorte, in an era of high construction prices, there are not many new multi-purpose commercial premises on the market, which the tenant would also receive later this year. “Demand for such modern and low side-cost business premises is on the rise. In addition, in an environment of increased energy prices, companies have more and more interest in optimising their business processes. Thus, tailor-made business premises, where every square metre has a purpose, will prevail,” said Hinno.
“Our project team is working hard every day to develop space solutions that correspond to the specifics of our clients’ businesses. This kind of personalised approach has borne fruit: there are nine more months to go until the end of construction and to date around 40% of business premises have been rented out. At the beginning of 2024, Onninen, AT Sport and several other businesses that will be useful for the residents of this area will open their doors at Kadaka Trade Center," said the head of Favorte.
According to the head of Eventus Ehitus, Lauri Kaska, construction works are progressing at the expected pace and planned rhythm. "We build flexibly, according to the expectations and needs of the end users of the building. However, the sooner the tenants join the project, the more smoothly we can realize their wishes," Kaska added.
The architect of Kadaka Trade Center is Jüri Pilliroog from the Architectural Bureau LOOB Projekt, and the head designer is Marven Aus from Ehitusinsener OÜ. The building's 16,000 m2 commercial space has been spread over two floors: retail premises on the street level and service & office areas on the second floor. The back block, however, is made up of stock-office units.
A 500-kW solar park will operate on the roof of the commercial building, and modern technical solutions will provide a healthy and comfortable working environment for prospective tenants. To create a human-friendly urban space around the building, the bordering Kivikülvi Street has already been reconstructed and a long-awaited pedestrian sidewalk has been built on the Automaailm side of Kadaka tee. Cyclists and electric car owners will be welcomed by separate parking areas and charging points, and green spaces with tall trees will offer opportunities to spend lunch breaks.
