Apply for a scholarship provided by Favorte and TalTech!

Students can now apply for Tallinn University of Technology Development Fund’s scholarships. For the first time in history, Favorte is also offering a scholarship to support the studies of one engineering student with 4,500 euros.

According to Rainer Hinno, board member of Favorte, it is important to make the most of all the growing opportunities offered during your years in the university. “We have decided to offer a grant to one bright student, so they would have the time and motivation to get professional experience in the field. This will help them make important decisions for their future," explained Hinno.

"We encourage all engineering students with an interest in property development to send in their applications. With us, you can experience the client side of real estate development, where all the conditions that underpin the whole construction process are actually set. So, you can really shape the future of the cities and real estate landscape as a whole working with a developer," said the head of Favorte.

Favorte is a real estate developer with close to 30 years of experience. The company's development portfolio includes Tähetorni Technology Park (Tähetorni Tehnopark), which has the potential to grow into the largest technology park in Tallinn. The Käokella residential area (Käokella elurajoon), which is the largest of its kind in the Rae municipality, stands out among Favorte's residential developments. “Let's create the kind of homes where you would want to live in yourself! And who knows, maybe our commercial spaces will give a boost to the next unicorn,” concluded Hinno.

The scholarship is available through the Tallinn University of Technology Development Fund. “It is great to see so many companies supporting students in their studies. More and more companies see the need to popularise the field, and one good way to do this is by investing in future professionals through scholarships,” said Elinor Toming, the leader and member of the board of the Tallinn University of Technology Development Fund.

“Moreover, it is an ideal opportunity for employers to make themselves visible to young people at an early stage, so that when a graduate enters the labour market, they would know which companies in a given field would appeal to them as an employer," explained Toming.

The deadline for the scholarship applications is 18 October. For more information on how to apply, see the scholarship statute
