First warehouse completed in Favorte's 20-million Väo Äripark

The area around Väo traffic junction has seen significant development in recent years. In addition to Olerex's full-service station Väo Keskus, the first commercial building in the 20-million-euro Väo Äripark by Favorte has now been completed.

In collaboration with real estate developer Favorte and Eventus Ehitus, a 3500 m² warehouse was completed this autumn on the Plaasi 4 property. “The business building has only one vacant leasable space left, and contracts have already been signed for the building on Plaasi 2, which will be completed in early 2025,” commented Favorte Stock Sales Manager Ivo Tammearu on the popularity of the business park.

The Plaasi 4 stock-office building now hosts the new office, warehouse, and service workshop of Zeppelin Power Systems Baltics OÜ (formerly Baltic Marine Contractors OÜ), which has German roots. The company is the region's only official dealer and service provider for MaK marine engine spare parts. Additionally, the company’s NavCom department offers a wide selection of navigation and communication equipment from various globally renowned brands.

According to CEO Siim Viljakainen, several significant milestones are occurring simultaneously at ZPS Baltics. “The name change marks the completion of the merger with the German parent company, as well as the move to a new rental space. The previous workshop was too small for our growing business, and the new premises are also more energy-efficient, supporting the group’s overall environmental policy,” said Viljakainen.

The location next to Väo junction provides the company with quick access to its main trade route, the Tallinn roundabout. “Another advantage of the development was the opportunity to communicate our requirements to Favorte before construction began, allowing us to design the office and workshop to meet our specific needs,” added ZPS Baltics' leader.

Next, construction will begin on the properties at Jõesaare 10 and Jõesaare 14, which will add 7650 m² of stock-office space to Väo Äripark. “Therefore, companies that find standard solutions insufficient or wish to lease a larger portion of the building should contact us today,” noted Favorte Stock Sales Manager.

A total of six buildings with a gross area of 21,300 m² will be constructed on the 5.5-hectare development area of the business park over the coming years. To date, lease agreements have been signed with nine companies. Among others, Melg-Auto OÜ, Vermeer Baltic OÜ, and Kristen Grupp OÜ will open their doors in Väo Äripark.
The buildings' architect is Jüri Pilliroog from the architectural bureau LOOB Projekt. The project is financed by LHV Bank. More information about the development can be found at: https://vaoaripark.ee/

All buildings in Väo Äripark belong to the Favorte Stock brand. Favorte is the leading expert in Estonia’s stock-office market segment. With 30 years of experience, the developer has established 80,000 m² of commercial space and helped more than 130 business clients move to more energy-efficient premises. By the end of 2024, Favorte's commercial real estate rental portfolio will total 66,900 m² (including Tähetorni Tehnopark and Väo Äripark).
