Favorte and Mitt&Perlebach launch the construction of Rehelepa residential area
Real estate developer Favorte and construction company Mitt&Perlebach signed a contract for the construction of the first phase of Rehelepa residential area on the border of Nõmme and Haabersti districts. The total investment of A-energy class apartment buildings to be completed at the end of next year amounts to 10 million euros.
According to Rainer Hinno, board member of Favorte, the project has achieved unique balance between suburban proximity to nature and modern amenities. “When you walk around in Rehelepa, the lush greenery goes as far as the eye can see. At the same time, we consider it very important to integrate such a private residence into the surrounding urban environment,” Hinno noted.
“To bring convenience services closer and support the emergence of social infrastructure in the area, we will continue the development of Tähetorni Tehnopark just 600 m from the Rehelepa residential area, at Paldiski Road. Already today, 26 companies have established themselves there, which can benefit the local population with their wide range of products and services,” said the head of Favorte.
Great emphasis has also been placed on expanding the light traffic roads and the public transport network into the residential area. “To date, the entire Rehelepa infrastructure, including pedestrian and bicycle paths and three new bus stops, has been completed to extend the existing urban routes right to the door,” Hinno added.
The first phase of the Rehelepa residential area will be built by Mitt&Perlebach, the founder and co-owner of which, Kristjan Mitt, says that preparations for starting construction are in full swing. “We’ll break the ground already in August. It is an honour to be at the beginning of such a grand project and to contribute to bringing the vision of our long-term cooperation partner to life,” Mitt said.
The author and architect of the first-stage homes is Aigar Roht from Arhitektuuribüroo Korrus OÜ, who said that the overall image of the area is diverse and subtly designed. “Height-differentiated buildings are carefully grouped so that when moving around in the quarter, different types of houses offer variety and fresh views from new directions,” Roht said.
“Mainly light toned buildings are given accent by dark first floors, playing rhythm of the windows and square wooden motifs. The entire area and apartments have been designed with a human-friendly dimension, smart use of space and the quality of the living environment in mind,” said Roht.
In the coming years, 334 apartments will be built in Rehelepa residential area, with a total investment of 55 million euros. At the same time, nearly two hectares of green areas will be furnished with diverse sport courts and playgrounds, as well as recreational areas, which will facilitate the growth of joint activities and community sentiment. Solar panels will be installed on the rooftops of apartment blocks, and much of the parking spaces have been moved under houses to add even more space to the outdoor area.
